Muyil and Chunyaxché were ancient Mayan trading center located on the edge of the Sian Ka’an lagoon. We’ll take a walk back through time as we explore Muyil, learning about Mayan culture, History, natural medicine and how it intersects with the lives of Mayans today. Then we’ll explore the wetlands of the lagoon by boat, stopping to take a magical float down a freshwater canal. Approximate time: 6 hours. Price: $125 USD per person (minimum two).
